Annual Pancake Breakfast

October 24, 2026

We’re excited to welcome you to this year’s Pancakes for Parkinson’s breakfast on Saturday, October 24th on UVA's South Lawn! To make your arrival as smooth as possible, we’ve put together a few parking options, and a map is attached. Parking is available at Monroe Hill, along the McCormick Road area near the Chapel, and at St. Paul’s Memorial Church (turn onto Chancellor St., where signage at the corner will point you to the lot).

UVA only lets us reserve a limited number of spaces around the Monroe Hill/McCormick Road area. St. Paul’s has additional spaces, and a shuttle will run between the lot and the drop-off point near the event. If you’d like extra options, paid overflow parking is also available at the Central Grounds Garage, accessible from Emmet Street South ($1.50/hour). ADA spaces are available at all locations, and signage will be displayed at each one.The drop-off point is Garrett Aly, off McCormick Road (circled in black on the map). The breakfast is a short walk from there on the South Lawn. Look for the big white tent!

A note for our guests with Parkinson’s and their families: we want your morning to be easy and stress-free. We recommend the St. Paul’s lot: volunteers will hand out parking passes there and shuttle you to and from the event. When you arrive at Garrett Aly, more volunteers will be standing by to escort you to the breakfast, and “runners” will be available throughout the event to help with anything you need. We will also have tables reserved for individuals with Parkinson’s and their family members. If you have questions before Saturday, please reach out to either SD McAllister (ajm6ky@virginia.edu) or Kaki Harris (yvv9kn@virginia.edu). We look forward to seeing you there!
